I'm pretty curious to see what people are doing the Friday after Thanksgiving.
I'm not only working, but I'm going to be at the office. I can't see offenders that day, but I will be catching up on some paperwork and running background checks. What about you guys?
Sun's closed on Friday.
The better bonus holidays are between Christmas and New Year's when Sun is closed that whole week!

We are SO closed. :) Matter of fact, Friday morning I'll probably brave my first Black Friday sale in years, getting some new car seats for the kiddos.
We do the holiday shut-down between Dec 24-Jan 1 too. :D
No, and I actually prefer working that Friday. But last year, they changed the holiday structure and now they force us to take it. I don't go anywhere on the holidays and prefer to take my floater days at other times of the year. I also like working during the quiet holiday times while everyone else is out. I can get the orgainzational tasks out of the way - like paperwork and electronic files.

as far as I know, I am off. HOPEFULLY the boss will be able to figger out how to do his job remotely, so I do not get a phone Call and get to come back to town early.

I'm off. But I'll be working around the house.

I'm working, and I'll be in the office. In previous years, Black Friday was a casual dress (jeans) day, and a half day - they usually let us leave around 1.
This year, it's a regular workday, and business dress. Blech. None of my clients is open (except the casinos, but the risk managers won't be working, so even if anything happens, I won't know until Monday!) and nobody's going to expect us in, so I'm not going to have any work to do. I did manage to catch up on most of what I had pending on Wednesday.
So I think I'm taking the DS to work tomorrow.

I'm working tomorrow, starting at the buttcrack of dawn. I never have the option of working from home, as I am an assistant/receptionist at a vet. Lucky us, though -- this year they were nice enough to allow us to close one whole hour early!! Then its back to the normal schedule (I'm in on Saturday too).
As much as I'd love to have some real time off around the holidays, I probably would not want to shop on Black Friday regardless of the sales. People become rabid during the heaviest shopping days and I have not had my rabies shots. :)

The customer site where I office is observing tomorrow as a holiday, so I'm off.

I'm off from work!
I meant to bring work home in case I had time, but I forgot my USB flash drive with all the relevant files when I left the office on Wednesday.
Darn... ;)

I'm
soooooooo
bored
sooooooo
very
bored
No phone calls. No emails (except from my boss, asking me to review a policy that we don't have, so there's not much I can do there).
Played my DS for a while, I might go back to that.
3 more hours of this...

Well I got a Call while we were watching a movie about Bears at the Grizzley Discovery Center in West Yellowstone. It was 10:45 in the morning and we were an EASY 3 hours away from Town (1 to get back to Big Sky, 1 to pack-up and 1 to get back home).
Suffice to say we'll probably get our butts chewed out Monday morning:tickedoff: . I APPARENTLY hit the 'Ignore' button on my phone instead of answering...
ROOPS! :coolsmiley:
