What skins are we using?

Right now I'm using Aria+. I like the + skins because they use the full window. I find that Aria is a nice color blend without being jarring.

I was using the carbon one for a while, now I'm undecided. I really would prefer a dark background with light text one though. :(

Gotta admit, I don't like the odd gradients in any of the Aria skins. They're just oddly placed and distracting. Makes it difficult to pick out important bits, like the text and such.

Ditto. And OMG I didn't realize it, but this looks almost identical to another forum I'm on.

In a way, though, this one fact just made it 1000% more comfortable for me to start posting here. I felt disjointed using the other themes.

Excellent thread idea. I hadn't played with this much. I'm sticking with Carbon + right now. Once I get MSQ worked into my forums list and get it on my phone I know I'll love the mobile skin.

I used to be way into forum development, phpBB, IPB and vB, and could look up my bookmarks and hook you up to some good places for skins. Extreme Pixels is an offshoot of TeamPhotoshop.

Off the top of my head, if you're looking to pay for really good skins, xTreme Pixels makes some really good skins, for about $30 a pop.

I know there are free vB skins around, done my some pretty good designers as a hobby, but I'll have to see which ones are still activily around..its been a year at least since I was interacting in that area. I made a few skins and hacks for the phpBB and IPB hack sites a long time ago.

Well, the skins should work for everyone I think but the Customer User Title is only for Subscribers.

I tried again and it worked! :) Probably did not take on my work computer for some reason, but I got it working here at home.

I went with the Aria Carbon +, cause it's big and bold! :)

I'm using Aria Carbon +. It's the easiest for me to read due to the contrast. The default Aria + isn't bad, but all the blue is too close to the same hue and shade for me.
