PS3 at cost

Hey all,

I bought a 60GB PS3 the other day at Best Buy intending to sell it on eBay. Turns out the eBay market has dried up, so before I return this thing to BB, I figured I'd give anyone here an opportunity to buy it from me, at cost. I think after tax it was about $628. Let me know ASAP, as I plan on returning it after I get off work today, at 3:30 central time.

I guess not. I took it back to Best Buy, and the girl there seemed suprised I was returning it. They had to call a manager over, and she kept asking "And there's nothing wrong with it? Why are you returning it?" When I told her I'd rather have a Wii, she seemed suprised. But they conceded that they sold their stock of Wiis faster than their PS3s.

That's the thing... Sony has royally screwed themselves. nobody trusts the name anymore.

Woot put up $500 PS3's (20 gig models) with overnight shipping tonight and sold out in under 30 minutes. So there's still some demand out there.

They sold 80 of them within 7 minutes if you check the stats. You gotta admit, Woot pulled off a good one there. $500 for the system and $5 for overnight Saturday delivery. Guaranteed before Xmas. :D
