I have my default font size at 24 and I have no problems with reading threads at TCF without my glasses but the font size here at Main Square isn't affected.
On my desktop computer I utilize the zoom scroller of the Microsoft keyboard and can make any website easy for me to read. Is there a trick in Firefox or on my laptop that can give me the same flexibility ?

If your laptop has the glidepad, check the mouse control panel to see if there is an option to make the right edge into the scroll wheel. I know my Compaq Presario has a piece of the glidepad sectioned off and marked for that.

It is a scroll wheel but it scrolls the pages up and down.
