I got a 80GB iPod, Sonic Impact i-F2, and a $50 bill from my uncle.
I'll be taking the stuff back though, I already have a 30GB iPod, and I can do a lot more with the $500 this comes to. Ive been needing a laser printer, hard drive and a DVD burner, and this will more than cover it, and with whats left I might get a bigger LCD...scratch that, i need a new camera:)

Most importantly, Ludwig & I got to spend some time with both of our families (although we won't see my mother & sister until next week) and got to help my grandmother out a bit with her annual Christmas Eve party.
For presents, I was the lucky recipient of an 8GB red iPod Nano and some sexy black patent leather pumps from Aldo. Our joint gifts included cash (always useful), gift certificates for rock climbing (YAY!), and, from his parents, a hot air balloon ride!

I was very surprised to receive an 80 gig iPod from the wife. She also hooked me up with a couple of very cool Cubs sweatshirts and one of those little glass ecosystem spheres.
The kids all made out like bandits and I gave my wife a sewing machine/embroidery machine/whatever it is that she's been talking about. My favorite memory of this Christmas though will be from Christmas Eve.
For reasons that I haven't clearly determined yet, my former wife and her new beau joined my family to celebrate the holiday on the 24th. I got wind of this in time to pick up his and hers edible underwear and a vibrating c*ck ring to have for them to unwrap in front of the rest of my family. A new classic Christmas memory for Lowell. :)

Ours was really low key this year - my wife and I got a couple of gift cards (Trader Joes!!!) and a concert TBD at Ravinia this summer (I've already put in my vote for Lyle Lovett if he is on the schedule again)
We had a wonderful holiday though with a nice Hanukkah at my brother's house on Wednesday and Christmas with friends today.

Drunk. Twice!
Also, a shirt, pants, a book about something or other, a candle and candle warmer (which is kinda interesting), a very nice engraved money clip (with a built in watch for some reason), and a liquor dispenser.

A riser for the second row of theater seats, upconverting DVD player, and harmony remote.
Bunch of other stuff for the house as well.
Easily the most expensive Christmas ever, but well worth it.

An Icom 756 ProIII ham radio transceiver.
...a liquor dispenser.
...Star Trek: The Animated Series...
All cool gifts.
I'm wondering about the liquor dispenser though... is it like one of those bottle tops that dispense a set amount?

I got to spend time playing with Kaylee, and watching everyone else play with Kaylee. Jen got me two small things (a devotional book and a battery powered disk launcher to shoot at the cat), and I got her tickets to see Happy Feet with me tomorrow night (my parents will watch the kido). But I'll forget that stuff soon enough. Watching Kaylee puke all over her uncle (who will have his own in 4 or so months) will be a memory I'll cherish forever. :)

I got a new shredder, a new stethescope, some clothes, gift certificate to Barnes and Noble (supposed to be for textbooks, may end up buying some fun stuff too!), a upgraded membership to AAA, a couple of new hockey jerseys, and candy. A friend was trying to find us tickets to the NHL All Star game, but there are none to be had. :(
I also got to spend some rare time with my family. Doesn't happen enough these days. The Kiddo had to work, but we had a great dinner together and we all had a blast.

Wow, lots of 80GB iPods! Apple must be quite pleased ;)
I got $85 in Best Buy gift cards from various people, a 21.6 volt Kawasaki cordless drill, the leather steering wheel wrap and upgraded Civic branded floormats for my new car, some great books, (Includuing a Mutts collection autographed by the author!), the Full Metal Alchemist game for my DS and Justice League Legends for my PSP...
Lots of stuff that I really wanted :) The only thing I REALLY wanted that I didn't get was a proclip ipod mount for my car.
I'm wondering about the liquor dispenser though... is it like one of those bottle tops that dispense a set amount?
It's the 2 bottle version of this thing: http://www.asseenontv.com/prod-pages/liquor_dispenser.html

18 pairs of socks
A watch/keyring

We kept it low key this year: I bought Lisa a new refrigerator (which was really our gift to each other), I got two sweatshirts from my mom. Lisa's family decided to do things differently this year: everyone only bought one present, and we picked numbers. In the grab bag I got a bottle of Chivas and some crystal high ball glasses.

Skittles bought me the latest Castlevania game for my DS lite
MikkelKnight sent me Beerfest on DVD.

Holy crap -- the gifts keep pouring in!
From my mother, stepfather, and sister:
EMS giftcard - yay, more outdoor gear!
Canyon Cafe giftcards - the restaurant where we celebrated with our families/friends the night of our engagement
Gertrude Hawke chocolates
Asian bowls
shirts
buckwheat hull neck pillow
and I was expecting coal...
EMS giftcard - yay, more outdoor gear!
I'm glad you clarified that. I was beginning to worry about why you'd need a gift card for Emergency Medical Services.
