I guess the point is that its shocking for the British government to be advertising sex related jobs.

What I got from it was how cheap pole dancers are in Britian

For 10 pounds an hour, I'd probably have a pole dancer in my living room on the weekends.

If I understand correctly from the description, the pole-dancing position isn't a stripper/lapdancer. It's just a hot girl who's paid to dance on a platform in a dance club. She's just part of the ambiance.
