I am trying to get this 880 to work with my Humax TiVo and am not sure what to configure the "extra" buttons for. How is yours configured?
I made sure that all of the buttons are mapped to something.
The extra buttons I just leave blank.

Since my old TV had an issue about coming on with a picture way too large (since rectified by replacing the set), I just used one of the extra buttons as a TV power toggle.
Other than that, I just used the standard setup.

Just look at your TiVo remote, decide what buttons you use a lot, and make sure each has a button mapped to that.
Here is a partial list of the ones I use that might not show up in the default config:
The TiVo button
The "Live TV" button
The "Clear" button
The thumbs buttons
The "play slowly" button
Other important ones are the "skip to tick" button and the "8 second reverse" button, but those are usually in the standard config.
If the remote has "real" buttons mapped to those, then you probably don't need the "extra" buttons for anything. Use them for functions on your receiver or TV if you need them for that.
If it matters, I have a Harmony 676, not an 880.
