Just browsing this week's Best Buy ad, where these are listed. I'm failing to see any benefit of this over MP3 players or even CDs.

What am I missing? Is it the DRM free thing? Doesn't Amazon sell MP3-free MP3s?

Cnet's Buzz Out Loud talked about this when it was first announced. They didn't get it either. One possible reason for it being done by SanDisk is that they're looking for another avenue to sell their media.

But personally, I don't get it either.
