I am semi knowledgeable on this stuff but always ready to know more.

I have 2 DTV HD DVR's in the same location and will soon be adding a Blue Ray player (and perhaps even one more PC). I'd like to run wireless to this location (wired is not an option).

I am assuming I need some kind of wireless hub that can receive the wireless then route writes to each device. Does this exist and any recommendations ??

Thanks

I think the best solution would be to get a powerline adapter, like this one. It would let you connect up to 4 ethernet devices near the TV and use your house's powerlines to carry the signal. It works well, I use one at home, and have set it up at a friend's house as well.

I would say this is a far better solution than using a wireless hub. Faster and easier.

Interesting idea, would that work when you plugs are on strips do you think ?

As long as the strips do not have surge suppressors, yes. Some wireless routers can be configured a "wireless bridge", which is what you want.

according to sling's website and the boxes I have, the slinglinks have a built in surge protector, so I just have everything else plugged into power strips and the slinglinks plugged into the wall.
