What do you use to catalog and move and rename your Mp3s. I have 300gig of music and it would take for ever to do manually.
I thought there was a thread that covered this but my search came up empty so i apologize in advance if there is.

From memory, I think there was a program called "Tag and Rename." IIRC, Otto recommended it.

There was, I think iTunes was the one people liked the best. Not sure if that is because it is the best, or just a lack of choice.
For me, using iTunes would take just as long, if not longer to use

I use mediamonkey. I like it.

It will also volume-balance (select Analyze to embed the volume adjustment as a tag rather than modify the actual file.)

It will organize into directories and name the files however you like, based on the tags.
