For those of you no longer there, it has been reported that Mavenelle went to the hospital at 6:14am - it looks like the baby is on the way!

I will update this thread as Sobelle passes on additional info....

15 hours of labor? or at least 15 hours of being at the hospital? baby was not so considerate, was he. :)

First babies always take a long time. My son took something like 36 hours.

My wife delivered our first 45 minutes after we arrived at the hospital. This was after she had called and they told her she could come in if she wanted but they would probably just send her home. :)

She is the exception to the rule.

Baby was 8lbs, 21 inches.

Usually...but not always! I had my first labor pain at 11:15pm and the baby at 5:05 the next morning. But I feel the back-labor more than made up for the lost hours of labor! :p

There's a reason he's an "only."
