Shia LeBouef and Michael Douglas -set 20 years later when Gordon Geko gets out of prison.
This seems like perfect timing. I bet the public is ready for another tale of greedy bankers over reaching and their downfall.

Pros: Interesting treatment. Seems to put Gekko on the "good guy" side this time around.
Cons: Most film franchises (http://www.time.com/time/specials/packages/completelist/0,29569,1852056,00.html) don't benefit from a 22-year wait between sequels. Shia LeBeouf.
Prediction: BBoS, with a couple watchable moments

First Indiana Jones, now this. What is it about Shia LeBeouf that makes people want to revive old movies?

Actually, you could put Transformers as his first revival. It wasn't a sequel as Indy and WS are, but he does seem to have a nitch.

[Oliver Stone (http://gawker.com/tag/oliverstone/) boasting (http://nymag.com/daily/entertainment/2010/05/oliver_stone_interview_cannes.html) to New York about the excitement surrounding the premiere of his new movie, Wall Street 2 (http://gawker.com/tag/wallstreet2/): Something After the Colon, at the Cannes Film Festival (http://gawker.com/tag/cannesfilmfestival/) tomorrow.
I can't imagine paying $10,000 to see any movie much less this one.

$10K is pocket change for some of these guys.
John Paulson made some $4B from his bets against the housing market in the past few years.
