I wonder if this seat will go Republican now, just like Ted Kennedy's.

More precisely, his district was the only one in the country that Bush lost in 2004 and McCain won in 2008.

...caused by an accidental nick in the intestine during the surgery.

But that's not yet substantiated, so I think we'll have to wait and see.
